Creamy Shrimp'n Grits

with Chorizo Sausage

I get asked all the time, What is the recipe in that picture!?!?! It's similar to our bisque recipe with the addition of cheddar cheese and chorizo sausage. It's super easy to make and great over grits or rice! 


  • 1/3 Cup Citrus Chilau Sauce
  • 1/3 Cup Seafood Stock
  • 1/3 Cup Heavy Cream
  • 1 Cup Shredded Cheddar
  • 1 Lb Shrimp
  • 1/2 Lb Chorizo Sausage
  • 1/4 Cup Onion
  • 1/4 Cup Green Bell Pepper
  • 1/4 Cup Red Bell Pepper
  • 2 Tbsp Butter
  1. Sauté Sausage in butter until crispy 
  2. Add onions and peppers and cook until tender 
  3. Add liquids and bring to boil
  4. Add cheese and stir until melted
  5. Add Shrimp and cook until pink
  6. Serve over grits or rice with green onions topping
